One of Ayurveda daily preventative health routines is tongue scraping. This is done with an actual tongue scraper before you eat or brush your teeth. This cleans off any Ama you may accumulate overnight. This is bacteria that we don’t want. I have found since I started this practice years ago, my dental checkups show clean healthy gums and teeth.
